Dubai Cares will answer that through its various engagements at Expo 2020 Dubai which are under the theme: The Future is Human. These engagements include the Dubai Cares Pavilion, RewirEd, Dignified Storytelling and the Global Declaration on Connectivity for Education.

Dubai Cares Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai
Embodying the official theme for our engagements at Expo 2020 Dubai, “The Future is Human”, the 1,000-sq-m Dubai Cares Pavilion welcomes visitors on an inspiring journey of discovery and appreciation, as they explore the enriching story of Dubai’s coming together and creating a movement that has and continues to make a difference in the world by leveraging the transformative power of education and learning. Today, we know that movement as Dubai Cares.
- Location: Opportunity District within Expo 2020 Dubai
- Visitor Hours: 10 am - 10 pm from 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022 daily
RewirEd is a global platform with a clear vision: to rewire education for a prosperous and sustainable future. Led by Dubai Cares, in partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai and in close coordination with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), and delivered in partnership with global stakeholders, RewirEd aims to be a catalyst in redefining education to ensure a future that is prosperous, sustainable, innovative and accessible to all. Today, thousands of stories are being told regardless of who tells them and how they are told. Many of these stories lack authenticity, transparency, or are driven by ulterior motives which serve a predetermined narrative. These are just some of the few obstacles that get in the way of honest, wholesome and dignified storytelling. Such practices are no longer acceptable, especially given the impact storytelling, in all of its forms, has on international development, humanitarian aid and philanthropy and most importantly human dignity.

Global Declaration on Connectivity for Education
As a leader in the education in emergency space, Dubai Cares, together with key actors in the sector, identified connectivity as a critical enabling factor to ensure learning can continue – even in times of crisis and school closures. To help achieve this, Dubai Cares has been working closely with UNESCO and UNICEF since the end of 2020 to launch a Global Declaration on Connectivity for Education during Expo 2020 Dubai. Read More
