The recent urbanization of Bangladesh has resulted in extremely low standards of living with the majority of the population living in slums and dealing with very unhygienic conditions. The lack of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities is particularly apparent in public facilities such as schools, where the state of WASH facilities remains very poor.
