On average, children in developing countries walk 3 kilometers every day to get to school. The Dubai Cares Walk for Education is a symbolic annual walk that raises awareness around this challenge as well as raises funds in support of Dubai Cares’ education programs.
Dubai Cares Walk for Education is a wonderful opportunity for members of the UAE community to advocate for a cause close to their hearts as well as enjoy fun activities with family, friends and colleagues. It is a symbolic walk that raises awareness about the average walking distance (3 kilometers) that children in developing countries take to get to school. In 2019, 18,000 participants are expected to join the 10th anniversary of Dubai Cares’ Walk for Education.
