Dubai Cares is funding the training of head teachers to become instructional leaders, initially through face-to-face training, then through a distance-learning cascade, made possible by a technology infrastructure. The program is being implemented over a period of 2 years and 6 months and targets the schools of West African provinces.
The program aims to improve teaching practices through interactive activity-based learning, improving teachers’ subject knowledge, creating more equitable classroom environments and supporting the development of a more accountable monitoring system of teaching quality.
