Dubai Cares aims to increase access to quality Early Childhood Education (ECE) through a pilot intervention composed of a combination of activities which include:
• Providing regular in-service training and coaching for ECE teachers
• Strengthening the education system’s capacity to provide children with school readiness skills they require to succeed in primary school
• Empowering school leaders, parent-teacher committee members, district education officials and sector education officials with skills needed to better manage their limited resource
• Mainstreaming inclusion across the targeted district to incorporate children with disabilities

This program aims to:
• Provide and monitor school feeding in 12 primary schools
• Improve facilities in 12 primary schools in order to ensure that students are provided with an environment that fosters health and safety
• Encourage a greater number of students to participate in the school feeding program by providing healthy and nutritious school meals
• Provide on-going nutrition and standards awareness to parents and to people preparing meals under the school feeding program
