Through this program, Dubai Cares worked towards creating a sustainable environment in which children’s learning outcomes related to literacy were improved.
The specific objectives of the program included:
• Teachers capacitated to create a supportive and inclusive environment in which children were equipped and supported to improve their reading skills
• Early grade readers were actively supported in reading practices by schools, parents and community
• Project results and best practices for the improvement of learning outcomes of early grade readers were analyzed, documented and disseminated among relevant stakeholders and policy makers
