Dubai Cares and Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) are partnering to ensure that 500 children with disabilities in Amolatar district are enrolled in mainstream primary schools. The program supports the school enrolment of these children and carries out referrals for medical and rehabilitative treatment.

The program aims to achieve the following:
• Sensitize and train teachers in Inclusive Education and teaching techniques
• Provide locally-sourced assistive devices to schools to aid in student development
• Adapt the infrastructure of target primary schools (ramps and accessible toilets)
• Develop an Inclusive Education Resource Centre in Amolatar Town Hall for all teachers and students to access
• Incorporate gender-inclusive approaches to ensure equal participation
• Sensitize communities, School Management Committees and Parent Teacher Associations on disability
• Provide income generating support to parents
