The program in Sierra Leone aims to support the Ministry of Education in its near- and long-term goals for improved education quality and learning outcomes by ensuring that at least 4,000 children (6-16 year olds) whose education was interrupted during the Ebola crisis attend safe, quality and predictable primary and lower secondary education in the Bo district. The program allows children to acquire the reading, writing and socio-emotional skills that they need to mitigate the effects of adversity in order to thrive.
