Dubai Cares, in partnership with Educa, launched a program aimed at providing professional development for teachers and supporting students across Paraguay with access to quality education. The program fostered learning among children in primary and secondary schools and enhanced teachers’ professional development through access to a cutting-edge educational portal known as META.
META was developed to offer a wide range of resources, methodologies, and online communities to enrich the teaching-learning process. It served as a platform for continuous professional development for both pre-service and in-service teachers, incorporating national and international best practices to strengthen pedagogical skills and teaching methods.
The program also aimed to support the Ministry of Education and Sciences in Paraguay and the broader educational community by offering innovative educational content in diverse formats, including texts, animations, videos, games, workshops, and courses. Linked to other regional and global EdTech platforms, META worked to eliminate linguistic barriers by providing content in multiple languages, ensuring equitable access to resources for all segments of the Paraguayan population.
