Interactive Winter Break Workshops at Dubai Cares

Winter break is just around the corner! This year, encourage your children to make the most of it by signing them up for a fun and meaningful story-based workshop at the Dubai Cares Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Designed for 6-12 year olds, the interactive hands-on activity will inspire them to play an active role as learners and changemakers as they help a fictional character Fatima design and build a new school after her city is hit by a natural disaster. In doing so, they will learn more about Dubai Cares’ efforts towards promoting Education in Emergencies as they approach a real, pressing world problem in a playful and creative way.

From tapping into their imagination and thinking out-of-the-box, the young problem solvers will learn about the importance of education, emotional wellbeing and discover their potential as agents of change in spreading the message that education cannot wait. At the end of the session, they will be treated to a complimentary school kit comprising exciting goodies from Skechers.

Designed by Kide Science and organized in collaboration with Finnish education experts at both Kide Science and Upiopi, the workshops will run from Monday, 20 December until Thursday, 23 December 2021 at 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:00pm daily. The workshop is facilitated in both Arabic and English.

At the end of the session, children will receive a complimentary school kit comprising exciting goodies from Skechers.
