Bridges of Giving
The UAE has united in its efforts to support families affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, through the launch of “Bridges of Giving”, a nationwide community volunteering initiative that will bring the UAE together to assemble relief kits for families affected by this natural disaster. The initiative is led by UAE humanitarian organizations including Dubai Cares, Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority among others, in close coordination with the UAE Ministry of Community Development (MOCD) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC).
The community volunteering event will take place simultaneously in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Saturday, 11th February, 2023 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. In Dubai, you can volunteer with Dubai Cares to pack the relief kits at Dubai Exhibition Center (DEC) at Expo City Dubai.
