Initiatives such as Volunteer Emirates and the Walk for Education have been running for more than 17 years and have been increasingly growing in popularity. These initiatives require the support of sponsors who help us cover the initiatives' cost.
Dubai Cares organizes several editions of Volunteer Emirates throughout the year, to support the education of children from low-income families in the UAE, children with special needs, as well as underprivileged children in developing countries.

On average, children in developing countries walk 3 kilometers every day to get to school. The Dubai Cares Walk for Education is a symbolic annual walk that raises awareness around this challenge as well as raises funds in support of Dubai Cares’ education programs.
