Throughout the year, Dubai Cares actively raises funds from the UAE community in support of its programs and initiatives. Individuals and corporations can also play a role in helping raise funds for the organization.The Award runs across all public and private schools in the UAE and will call upon students to put their creative and entrepreneurial talents towards a fundraising drive in support of Dubai Cares.

This Dubai Cares Distinguished Philanthropic Award runs across all public and private schools in the UAE and will call upon students to put their creative and entrepreneurial talents towards a fundraising drive in support of Dubai Cares.
In partnership with the UAE Ministry of Education and the Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai Cares organizes the Distinguished Philanthropic Award in Schools every year with the participation of schools and students from across the country. Through this annual Award, we witness the nation’s energetic, compassionate, and forward-thinking students – with the support of their schools – embody their commitment to philanthropy.
It also seeks to increase the involvement of members of the community in Dubai Cares’ work, enhance the organization’s links with schools and raise awareness of the obstacles to accessing education in developing countries.
The Award consists of two categories that provide students the opportunity to direct their creative and entrepreneurial talents towards a fundraising drive in support of Dubai Cares and its programs.
All the participating schools are invited to a ceremony organized to acknowledge their efforts as well as to recognize the winning schools.
