Are you a book and charity enthusiast? If so, then this volunteer opportunity is for you
We are seeking Dubai-based volunteers to join us at the Big Bad Wolf. We will be participating in the event through an activation focused on literacy and reading. To sign up, please visit UAE Volunteer Platform or the Community Development Authority Platform by the 26th of September, 2019. Volunteers will be selected on a first come first served basis. Selected volunteers will be invited to attend a briefing session at Dubai Cares' offices prior to the start of the event.
Date: 8 to 20 October 2019
Time: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Volunteers: Male and Female volunteers who are 18 years old and above and are able to commit to several shifts during the weekend.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Present the Dubai Cares message to the visitors at check out counters and guide how to donate their newly-purchased books
- Engage with the visitors and take them through the activation (ensure that visitors truly understand the benefits of learning through play and its impact on children's development)
- Hand out flyers to visitors.
