Dubai Cares is recruiting volunteers to support Dubai Cares in its participation in the Ministry of Education National Science, Technology and Innovation Festival
The festival will run from the 31st of January until Sunday the 3rd of February 2019.
The festival has two shifts:
- The morning shift: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM will include a conference and a science fair presenting innovative projects done by students
- The afternoon shift: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM will include family activities like: art, entertainment, kids’ zone, sports zone, live stage, music and unique activation
We are looking for 5 volunteers to join us during the four-day event and support us with the following:
- Engage the visitors with The Snakes and Ladders game, to raise awareness about the challenges that children face daily to get to school
- Hand out Dubai Cares Walk for Education 2019 flyers
- Run videos about Dubai Cares programs
- Assist participants in purchasing online admission passes for the Walk for Education 2019
To participate in this initiative, please sign up through the UAE Volunteer Platform by Sunday 27th January, 2019. Volunteers will be selected on a first come first served basis.
