Dubai Cares, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), is implementing a program in Northeast Colombia aimed at protecting conflict-affected children and young people through education. The program specifically targets vulnerable girls, boys and young people affected by conflict through empowering them to make choices for a positive and productive life that contributes to the development of the region.
The program engages out-of-school children and young people through non-formal education that encompasses a bridging program and Flexible Education Models, which provide technical support to the Secretariat of Education.
In addition, the program provides educational services for the out-of-school children and young people, as well as to strengthen and improve results in education quality, access to education and education management in Northern Colombia.
