The program aimed to enhance learning outcomes and increase the pass rates of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination in Jordan (“Tawjihi”) for both out-of-school Jordanian students and Syrian refugees through blended in-class learning and independent study. It was also made available to Syrian refugee students and Jordanians enrolled in secondary school to complement their in-class or book-based learning. The pilot program utilized Pedago’s ‘Smartly’ platform, which featured high-quality instructional courses optimized for smartphone use.
