• Country: Zambia
  • Date: Jan 2016 - Jul 2018
  • Program Type: Quality of Education and Learning
  • Partner: CAMFED – Campaign for Female Education (Zambia)
Dubai Cares is working towards mainstreaming continuous assessment in the Zambian education system by building the capacity of relevant personnel in the Ministry of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education (MESVTEE). It is providing policy-makers and teachers the tools and skills they needed to measure what learners are learning and use their findings to improve the quality of learning, responding to the fundamental questions set by the Learning Metrics Task Force (LMTF).

The program aims to:
• Train the core support teams at provincial and district levels to create a clear and robust structure for cascade training and coaching
• Work with key stakeholders to develop the quality assurance framework for the training
• Organize and host learning visits and meetings for LMTF delegations
• Document the process and develop a case study for dissemination across wider LMTF networks
