Dubai Cares, in partnership with UNICEF, funded a program in Bosnia & Herzegovina, which worked towards increasing access to organized early learning programs and improving the physical, socio-emotional, cognitive and language development of 7,600 children aged 4-6 in 46 municipalities across the country, with special attention given to vulnerable children such as those from the Roma community and those with developmental delays and disabilities.

The program focused on:
• Increase the preschool education enrollment rate for all children aged 4-6 in 46 municipalities, including Roma children and children with disabilities
• Enhance the quality of early childhood education in Bosnia & Herzegovina for children aged 4 to 6, including Roma and children with disabilities
• Provide support for evidence-based advocacy, the adoption of legislation, policy development and budgeting aimed at supporting the expansion of Early Childhood Education in Bosnia & Herzegovina
