Dubai Cares is working towards adopting a holistic and integrated approach to improve early childhood education in Vanuatu through several components such as quality of instruction, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) facilities, nutrition, and child protection.
The intervention also addresses parenting support and improves quality of service provision at early childhood centers in order to improve school readiness and the transition from pre-school to primary school. The program is in line with the Pacific Multi-Country Program (2013-2017) and with the Ministry of Education’s Early Childhood Development strategy.
