In partnership with Sesame Workshop, Dubai Cares is addressing and reverting gender biases and stereotypes within three key spaces related to early childhood, math and science: the home, the school and the media. The program promotes evidence-based practices that will enrich the quality of educational experiences available to all children (boys and girls), especially those traditionally deprived of quality educational resources.
The program aims to achieve:
• Enriched math and science learning experiences free of gender biases available to girls and boys in early childhood development settings
• Strengthened capacity of educators to produce enriched learning opportunities in math and science free of gender biases
• Increased engagement and confidence of caregivers regarding their own capacity to support girls’ interest in math and science
