Dubai Cares contributed to the improvement and well-being of children in Haiti through the integration of water and sanitation facilities and hygiene activities in primary schools. The program provided a comprehensive package to support the sustainable integration of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in primary schools by reinforcing the child as the ‘agent of change’ and the school as the ‘center of excellence’ for sanitation and hygiene in the community.
