Dubai Cares, the UAE-based philanthropic establishment launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Patchi, the world famous chocolatier to launch a range of chocolate boxes in the UAE featuring the Dubai Cares logo.  Patchi will donate a “Percentage of Sale” from this promotion to Dubai Cares in order to support their initiative.

Commending Patchi’s commitment to social responsibility, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Cares, said, “Since its launch in September 2007, the support that Dubai Cares has received from the UAE community has been phenomenal and has significantly contributed towards achieving the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed of providing children in developing countries with access to quality primary education.”

“Patchi is a well renowned brand in the UAE and we are confident that the local community will support this initiative and help raise as many funds as possible to reach out to maximum number of children with our educational programs”, added Al Gurg.

This initiative is part of our social commitment and we are extremely proud to partner with Dubai Cares and help make a difference to the lives of children in developing countries. With Ramadan just around the corner and the festival season to follow, we encourage the UAE community to help us support Dubai Cares and its education programs. The special chocolates boxes will be available in different sizes at selected Patchi outlets throughout the UAE.”

This initiative will not only offer the UAE community an opportunity to enjoy the Patchi chocolates but also contribute towards providing quality primary education to  a number of children in developing countries.
