Dubai Cares was a significant presence at the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference & Exhibition (DIHAD) 2015, showcasing its global philanthropic educational efforts and presenting success stories that illustrate the conference's theme of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability: The Humanitarian Aid and Development Perspectives.

Commenting on the dialogue platform that DIHAD provides, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares said: "This year's conference theme is one that resonates well with Dubai Cares and its mission. As a global philanthropic organization working to provide millions of children with access to quality primary education, we believe that such access is more than a human right, but also, a creator of opportunities. In cooperation with UN aid agencies, NGOs, local governments and communities, our programs aim to generate measurable and sustainable improvements in children's abilities to learn and progress academically. An educated child has far greater chances, greater opportunities to remove himself, or herself, from poverty and stay out of poverty."
