Dubai Cares today joined forces with 100 volunteers to upgrade the premises and enhance the learning environment of Al Bustan School, the Ras Al Khaimah-based boys-only school. Over the course of 8 hours, the volunteers undertook a number of refurbishment activities including drawing murals on the walls of the teachers’ lounge, science lab, computer lab and outside the classrooms, as well as landscaping the premises and installing playground toys.
Volunteer Emirates is part of a series of local initiatives by Dubai Cares that offer UAE residents the opportunity to give back to the UAE community and support the philanthropic organization's mission.
