In partnership with buildOn, Dubai Cares supported the construction of schools in the far Western region of Nepal. This program directly benefited primary school-age children, as well as women from indigenous rural communities through adult literacy and life skills classes. Activities also benefited adults, teachers, and officials. The program aimed to increase access to education for girls and women, improve primary school infrastructure, and raise literacy rates among adults by providing opportunities for parents and community members to contribute to the construction of the schools and participate in capacity-building programs.
