In partnership with buildOn, Dubai Cares is supporting the construction of schools in the far Western region of Nepal. This program directly benefits primary school-age children, as well as women from indigenous rural communities through adult literacy and life skills classes. Activities also benefit adults, teachers and officials.
The program aims at increasing access to education for girls and women, improving primary school infrastructure and increasing literacy rates amongst adults, by providing an opportunity for parents and community members to contribute to the construction of the schools and participate in capacity building programs.
