In celebration of the 44th UAE National Day and as a home-grown global philanthropic organization, Dubai Cares has reaffirmed its commitment to the UAE's futuristic vision and development efforts globally. The organization's mission of providing children with access to quality education is in line with the nation's direction to empower developing communities worldwide.

In just 44 years, the achievements of the UAE, with due credit to its inspiring leadership represented by the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE founding father; His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; as well as the Supreme Council Members – Their Highnesses, Rulers of the other Emirates, have been remarkable and widely acknowledged by countries around the world.

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President has sustained the growth of a diverse economy, a safe and fulfilling societal environment, and a prosperous opportunistic landscape, which have provided nationals and residents alike with a thriving hub that everyone today is proud of. Moreover, His Highness has continued and expanded the UAE's legacy of extending a helping hand by providing bilateral support internationally, as well as launching local humanitarian initiatives and campaigns within the UAE.

Following in the footsteps of the founding father of the UAE the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who has reinforced the deep generosity of the people of the UAE and built an advanced nation known around the world as a nation rooted in local tradition and a bright future, and in line with the recently launched Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, which focuses on fighting poverty and illness; spreading knowledge and culture; empowering the community and driving innovation, Dubai Cares continues its work towards the advancement of the global education development agenda, making a long-lasting impact in the lives of children and their communities globally.

Commenting on the occasion, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares said: "The achievements of our esteemed leaders are proof that any dream is possible when you have a vision, and the courage and determination to realize it. Today, on the 44th UAE National Day, we reconfirm our commitment to tackle the world's growing education concerns. Despite the numerous challenges that stand in our way, our collaboration with UAE nationals and residents has so far helped us reach 14 million beneficiaries in 41 developing countries around the world."

Since its establishment in 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Cares has worked tirelessly to realize its goals and provide underprivileged children with a basic human right so often overlooked; an education.
