Dubai Cares’ program aims to develop a systematic continuous evaluation and remediation mechanism at school level with the engagement of the communities, as well as education actors to improve student performance at primary level both in French and Arabic.
The program aims to:
• Build capacity of education inspectors, school directors, teachers and community facilitators to assess learners’ performance on a daily basis and take remedial actions
• Develop teaching materials to be used for the continuous assessment and remediation
• Put in place a digital performance monitoring system using a mobile platform and web application to ensure data is saved and available and to monitor remediation actions that are taken
