Children in Crossfire is an International NGO with a vision that every child fulfils their potential. The organisation was founded by Richard Moore in 1996. In 1972, aged 10, whilst on his way home from school, Richard was blinded by a rubber bullet in Derry/Londonderry. He has never allowed bitterness to hold him back and has "learned to see life in a different way". The experience inspired Richard to set up Children in Crossfire, a charity committed to the protection and promotion of the rights of the most vulnerable children caught in the crossfire of poverty.
